We provide training, advice and support to schools who want to offer their children food growing of cooking opportunities, but who just need a little expertise and confidence.

As a twilight session or inset day we can work with your staff to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to start food growing activities in their own classes.  Sessions are tailor made to your school’s needs and facilities and can include information on what to grow and when; how to sow and nurture vegetables through to harvest; and how to integrate food growing into the curriculum.

Example: Victoria Special School

Inset day - we delivered two training sessions enabling us to equip the whole staff with the knowledge and skills to get their children growing.  The sessions included practical activities that could easily be taken into the classroom and that gave the staff the confidence they needed to get started.
